7 DAY CHALLENGE- JOURNAL ENTRY A DAY
So today was a pretty average day in the life of Shan. Woke up and made a nice berry smoothie for breakfast, smoothie was delicious, I wish I could say the same for the bit of plastic that had broken off the inside of the blender, no more smoothies for me for a while. Hopefully it's still under warranty. After breakfast, I managed to have enough time to put on a load of washing (with no intention of hanging it out until I got home) Work was fine, went fairly quickly and Sharlene and I were on top of all our emails (killin it :) ) On my lunch break I had to quickly run to the council offices to get a copy of my Diploma of Tourism certified to send off to Uni. I was offered entry into UOW's Bachelor of Primary Education for March 2015, however, I have deferred my offer for a year so that I have time to save enough money to make it back to the states and visit my best friend Kaitlyn, and also time to save money to support me whilst I'm at uni, as I am going to be poor as shit! When I got home I pretty much laid face first on my bed and fell into a little exhaustion coma for a while, listened to some interesting Ted talks online, then ran downstairs to get the washing before the thunder storm started ( I love watching the lightning). Packed my suitcase for New Zealand, minus a few bits and pieces that I'll need to pop in tomorrow (they are part of the washing I put on this morning that need time to dry) and cooked a stir fry for din dins :) Spoke to Christina on the phone, who was lovely enough to offer me a lift to the airport at the crack of dawn on Wednesday morning (we fly out at 7am which means 4am wake up call to be at the airport by 5am) which is a godsend because it means I don't have to pay $20 bucks for a transfer.
So that was my day, not very interesting, but I after tomorrow I will be able to post exciting entries about my New Zealand adventure :)
Just before I say good night, a little positive thought for your evening..
Good night all :)
